Congress, by virtue of its lack of term limits, has ceased to represent the will of the American people and created a 'power bubble' that shields them from considering our will - and that is not why we sent them there.
Having a president with a term limit and a mandate to address the business of the people, yet a congress with no such limits creates a situation where there is no urgency to act on the people's behalf knowing they can simply block all movement until they have a president who agrees with them.
The lack of term limits encourages generational relationships with lobbyists and special interests whose agendas may not reflect policies that are in the best interests of the American people.
Term limits would allow us to periodically 'flush the toilet' and bring in new ideas.
