Challenge the MA driving ban issued by Gov. Charlie Baker and lift any of the excessive $500.00 fines for violating it.

Created by T.B. on January 27, 2015

The driving ban issued by the Massachusetts governor is an infringement on our civil liberties. Additionally, they had the audacity to impose a $500.00 fine for violators of this unconstitutional ban. I feel like I am living under a dictator that is imposing a curfew with extreme punishments for anyone who is out for legitimate reasons. The people who will receive the fines are ones who have a pressing issue that must be attended to. It is okay to suggest a voluntary ban with the possibility of a small fine, for example, if the driver is negligent or reckless. However, it is outrageous to impose a $500.00 fine on a person who may just need to run to a gas station or a store for necessary supplies.

I insist that any and all fines imposed be revoked or challenged immediately.
