Challenge the not guilty ruling in "George Zimmerman vs State of Florida".

Created by A.R. on July 13, 2013

We ask the Obama Administration to challenge the not guilty ruling in "George Zimmerman vs State of Florida" on the grounds that Florida's "Stand your ground" law should've covered Trayvon Martin when he was killed. Trayvon Martin was defending himself from a percieved threat in the form of George Zimmerman, who followed Trayvon even after being told not to by police. George Zimmerman did not identify himself as a neighborhood watchman nor did he tell Trayvon his reasons for following him. The resulting confrontation was a result of Trayvon standing his ground as the law allows him to do so and the shooting that occured is nothing short of the murder of an innocent child protecting himself after being accosted by an unknown man.
