In my area we have had cable and dsl broadband for about 10 years now. After so long, the companies still refuse to move to more rural neighborhoods in the area.
Some of these areas are no more than 1/2 to 1 mile away from their existing serviceable area.
I find it ridiculous that the telecommunications industry refuses to service areas outside of urban centers.
The telecommunications industry needs to expand their services to everyone they possibly can.
