To champion a bill making it illegal for members of congress to lie on television, infractions would require firing.

Created by P.B. on June 24, 2013

This law would force congress to present only facts when addressing the public eliminating the mistruths that lead the population to make decisions based on half truths and measures. People must expect to get the truth from our elected officials. Would we accept a judge or police officer lying to us about what is legal, I expect not, and if they did we would not tolerate it. How then can we tolerate our officials being allowed to lie, make false claims, and even guess. I say we cannot, in this age, allow these people to live to a lessor standard than our doctors and police officers.
