Champion Fair Information Practices into Federal Law

Propose and champion the adoption of the seven Fair Information Practice Principles (FIPPs) promulgated by the Department of Home Security in DHS Memorandum Number: 2008-01 into a baseline Federal Privacy Act. These principles are: Transparency, Individual Participation, Purpose Specification, Data Minimization, Use Limitation, Data Quality and Integrity, Security, and Accountability and Auditing.
