1. The NFL enjoys nonprofit status despite tremendous profits enjoyed by owners. The public subsidies paid by taxpayers fund the private wealth of team owners. Nonprofit status should be revoked.
2. The NFL enjoys antitrust waivers allowing it to legally operate as a monopoly. Publicly funded NFL entertainment is private property, raising everything from property taxes to TV cable fees paid by people (whether they watch football or not). These antitrust waivers should be revoked.
