The 2nd Amendment No Longer Makes Sense
The 2nd Amendment says that the population has the right to own and carry weapons so that they can keep the Government from becoming too powerful.
This made sense when both the Government and the population were armed with muskets.
Today, we citizens could not begin to fight against the military’s fighter jets, tanks, nuclear submarines, precision bombs, drones etc.
So the basic justification of the 2nd Amendment is no longer valid and we should reverse it.
Our country is over-run with guns. They are justified by the 2nd Amendment. But the 2nd Amendment doesn’t make sense any longer.
President Obama, please champion overturning the 2nd Amendment.
