Change the 13th amendment!! Abolish slavery in America even if the person has been convicted of committing a crime!

This petition is to remove the phrase " except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted," from the 13th amendment of the United States constitution. Lincoln never abolished slavery, he privatized the industry in our prison system and this petition is meant to stop it. All of the factory jobs currently being held by the incarcerated should be given to free American citizens and they should be paid a living wage to work at those jobs. #LetMyPeopleGo
