change the 2nd amendment to ban all assault weapons. No if;s and's or buts. No assault weapons period.

The 2nd amendment should say," A person in their right frame of mind can protect their house and land with 1 weapon. Never being allowed to carry in public concealed or not concealed more then 1 weapon. No one should be allowed to posses any assault weapons of any kind period. Government will do extensive background checks on everyone selling any guns and automatic weapons including law enforcement and military. If such is done then the person or persons selling weapons will be incarcerated to the fullest extent of the law. No questions asked.
