Change the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution to read: American citizens do NOT have the right to bear arms.

We the American people are currently witnessing way too much gun violence and needless killing of innocent citizens!
The time has come to overturn the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution to read: Other than US Police officers on duty and Active Military Personnel on duty, NO American Citizen or Visitor to the US or Refugee to the US shall have the right to own or carry a gun, ammunition or explosive, of any kind. This shall include all small arms (pistols), of all makes and models, all long guns (rifles, shotguns), all semi-automatic and all automatic weapons, of any kind, make or model. Using any kind of firearm for sport shall be completely prohibited. Only bows and arrows may be used for sport, such as killing pheasant or deer.
