Currenty a women can get an abortion even if the father wants the child. We need to make it so it requires consent from both parents to get an abortion. The main problem with our abortion laws are that a women can opt out of parenting, yet if a father wants nothing to do with his child and didn't convince the mother to get an abortion; he can be sued for child support. We need equal parenting laws when it comes to "opting out" of parenting.
