Change the age of new assault rifle owners to 30 years old for US citizens.

In these times of crisis in our country we must make a change to who can access assault rifles. By raising the age we could reduce the number of undetected unstable people from accessing assault rifles. We would set up an ID system for each existing assault rifle owner between the ages of 21 and 29. Each ID number would be necessary for purchasing ammunition and would be monitored for large purchases. This is strictly for assault rifles.
