change the age in which you obtain a drivers license

i believe that the age in which you can obtain a drivers license should be changed to 18. a person is to immature and irresponsible at the age of 16 to be on the road by themselves. there are plenty of statistics to support what i am suggesting but in case you don't want to look them up here are a few. Geico claims in this same age group within the first year of driving 1 in 5 16-year-old drivers has an accident. about 2,700 teens in the United States aged 16–18 were killed and almost 282,000 were treated and released from emergency departments for injuries suffered in motor-vehicle crashes. if you have a child about to start driving and know they are not ready for this then please support this
