America's Education system is not working, we are 17th out of 23 of the industrialized nations and the dropout rate is astounding. Only 75 percent of American high school seniors graduate and 68 percent go to college. Just 6 percent of U.S. students performed on an advanced level on an internation exam taken by 56 counties, we did worse than 30 of them.
The U.S. is rated 17th while Finland is 1st out of the industrialized countries.
In Finland 93 percent of seniors graduate and their test scores dominate ours. 2 in 3 kids in Finald will attend college, one of the higest rates in Europe. And overall the test scores from Finland out do every other country. There isn't enough room to explain why their education system is better but if you learn about it, it's easy to see why it is better.
