Change the amount of people required for a petition to be considered down to 50,000 people

Created by A.T. on March 04, 2013

The amount of signers needed for a petition used to be 25,000 before it would be read by the White House staff. This recent change to 100,000 is over the top and very unnecessary. I propose a change to 50,000. A number not so low that irrelevant petitions will be recieved, but one low enough that the people of the US can be heard.
