Change the AR 670-1 appearance regulations. Tattoos do NOT affect a persons work ethic.

Created by N.M. on April 22, 2014

The new appearance regulations for the military in the AR 670-1 are ridiculous. The new regulation concerning tattoos ruins many service members, that have been in for many years, careers. Tattoos do not affect a persons work ethic. I realize that they are trying to create a uniformity in the military but to take away a service member's rights to be individuals is wrong. We signed a dotted line, vowing to protect a country that we love with our lives. We should be able to express ourselves as people. We still wake up everyday and put on the same uniform as the next joe and we still go through the training that the military requires. How does a tattoo affect the training? It doesn't.
