In Arkansas, the motorcycle helmet law states that any person 20 or younger must wear a full-sized helmet. However, any person above the age of 21 may wear no head protection. This can lead to deaths and life-long injuries that can alter a person's life or a family's life forever. Emmanuel Pickett passed away after a motorcycle crash in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was failing to wear a helmet which at his age is not required. That age is 21. If he were to be wearing a helmet, he could have lived. Taken from an article of Grand Lake News "Page said no other vehicles were involved in the incident. Preliminary reports indicate both Giles and his passenger, McKenzie Fay Wilcox, 22, Grove, were thrown from the motorcycle. Neither were wearing helmets" Helmets save lives daily. Change it.
