The purpose of they petition it to convince Congress to leverage the United States Army G1 to replace the Army Service Uniform with the World War Two Class A uniform.
The Army Service Uniform is a throw back to the frontier era of the Untied States, and is a reminder of one of the bloodiest wars in the history of the Union - the civil war. Where brothers killed brothers, it is a constant reminder of a dark time in our national history; a union divided and a country in turmoil.
The World War II Class A uniform is highly recognizable - the olive drab (OD-51) color is a symbol of history - where our country, unified, fought for the greater good of not just the nation - but of the world.
