I think it's unfair that Black History Month is in February. It's the shortest and coldest month of the year. It needs to be moved to August, so people can celebrate their heritage for 31 full days during the summer time participating in whatever activities they desire.
I would also like to see the creation of a Ginger Pride Month. Perhaps that can be in February. It's cold and very little sunshine; which is something we gingers enjoy. Gingers make up only 2% of the American population and as a result we get treated differently our entire lives. I think having our own month would make us feel equal to our fellow Americans and proud to be who we are.
