The US Post Office should be restricted to deliver mail only when a resident is identified on the address label. This would mean no more Bulk/Junk mail delivered that is addressed to "Current Resident" , "Customer", "Neighbor", etc....It would also restrict the US Post Office from delivering Bulk/Junk mail that is distributed with no address at all, but still ends up in customer mail deliveries.
In the interest of "Going Green", this would substantially cut down on the amount of unwanted paper advertising many customers receive and are burdened with disposing of.
According to information from the Center for a New American Dream (CNAD)—reducing the amount of junk mail will save energy, natural resources, landfill space, tax dollars, and a lot of your personal time.
