Change Cannabidiol (Anti-Cancerous), the Non-Psychoactive Constituent of Cannabis from Schedule I to a Lighter Schedule

Created by A.H. on May 08, 2013

Cannabidiol ('CBD') is a major medicinal constituent of Cannabis. It is known to inhibit cancer cell growth (http://mct.aacrjournals.org/content/6/11/2921), have an antispasmodic effect for multiple sclerosis sufferers, ease various mental disorders such as anxiety disorder & schizophrenia, help epilepsy, as well as some common usages such as pacifying everyday nausea, anxiety, inflammation, etc. A major aspect CBD is that it's non-psychoactive (it doesn't have the inebriating effect that THC or other constituents of Cannabis, it doesn't get you "high" in any sense). Ibuprofen has a greater effect. Research shows complete safety (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22129319CBD) should be moved from schedule I ("no accepted medical use") to a lesser schedule for those who truly need it.
