On current government forms race has multiple options: (example from Baby registration):
American Indian or Alaskan native, Chinese, Filipino, Asian Indian, Guamanian or Chamorro, Japanese, Korean, Native Hawaiian, Samoan, Vietnamese, Other Asian, Other Pacific Islander, Other
And
White
Black or African American
Please change forms to eliminate color as a race
Ask an anthropologist for help to make forms more equitable
Or add German American, Nigerian America., etc to the list.
