to change childsupport laws. The laws takes my rights to drive and to get to work. It's counter productive.

Created by C.F. on February 20, 2013

If a person is behind on payments to childsupport the states government have the right to remove that persons rights to drive. This is highly counter productive. Taking 60% percent of a persons income is a burden enough. Taking a persons rights to drive can lead to being fired from jobs and keep from being qualified for jobs. Then who gets payments if there is not a way to get to work or even work? This law also leads to cluttering up jails due to contempt of court charges that could come from not being able to work or get to work. Some fast food establishments will not hire a person due to not having a drivers license. They will not hire a person because of the fear of not being able to be dependable and they do not see riding a bus dependable enough.
