In January of 2013, Jacksonville Jaguars general manager David Caldwell made a declaration heard across this country and the world:
"I can't imagine a scenario in which he'll be a Jacksonville Jaguar -- even if he's released,"
With the final four words, Caldwell made it be known. Just to be sure, he was asked to "say that again" by the media. At which point he did:
"Even if he's released".
And in the months that have followed, it has become a rallying cry within the city (the largest in the lower 48 states, landwise).
However, the meaning of Caldwell's words seem to have been forgotten by some in the media outside of Jacksonville. So to ensure they never forget, lets make it our official city motto.
Thank you.
