Christopher Columbus did not discover America. There were already people living here. History states that Columbus never actually stepped foot on North American soil. What he did do is enslave, rape and murder Native people. Let's remember those who died and celebrate their culture and heritage by honoring them with this day. This way we can learn the true history of America. Let's make this a nation holiday.
