Change the composition of the US Congress to represent fairly both the male and female population of the United States

Created by L.Z. on March 29, 2013

We believe at this time in the US that our representation in the Congress should more fairly reflect the gender distribution in the United States.
We propose that the Senate be composed of one male and one female Senator from each state.
We propose that the House of Represenatatives should be composed of male and female Representatives according to the US Census as follows: The census defines the total number of Representatives from each state. The ratio of the number of female to male adults in each state will then determine the ratio of the number of female to male Representatives in the House.
