Change Congress' pay rates to a "performance based" system rather than salary. Only bills passed by both sides count.

Created by A.C. on August 02, 2013

Its time that Congress is held to the same performance standards as the rest of us in the workplace. If I dont do my job, I get fired. Since elected officials cant be fired, they should not receive pay for doing essentially nothing. Being obstructionists, filibustering, ridiculously long recesses and vacations do not contribute to work. Their paychecks should directly reflect the passage of bills by BOTH House and Senate ONLY. This would certainly improve productivity and bipartisan cooperation. Limit vacations and other PTO to 3 weeks a year, just like the rest of us.
