Change credit card rules to include longer term (20 years) to pay them off, thus freeing up money from monthly payment.

Created by E.H. on October 27, 2011

Many people have credit card debt that they incurred while going to school, sending a child to school, starting a new business, etc. Good Reasons! We should have longer to pay off the debt, if we choose, thus LOWERING THE MONTHLY PAYMENTS, so we have money to spend now. The current credit card rules limit payoffs to 5 years. Give us UP TO 20 years - there should be more room to negotiate this with the credit card companies, instead of the Federal Gov't. demanding it be just 5 years.
