Federal agencies and local police departments all over the nation use asset seizure to boost their budgets when this money could be used to pay off our national debt.
In my opinion, it is far more important to pay off our debts than it is for police to buy new toys. Police do not have a need for drones and armored personnel carriers.
The fact that law enforcement can keep the money that they seize from crime scenes is an unbelievable conflict of interest. Let's pay off our debts and help our citizens!
