We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Change the current FDA regulations on the premium cigar industry as set forth on May 5th 2016

Created by D.S. on July 05, 2016

The regulations being put into effect August 2016 will greatly impact the cigar industry in the US as a whole. Not only will we see blends that we enjoy fade away because companies can't afford the costs associated with the new regulations, but businesses will close down with thousands of people losing their jobs. At the bare minimum we ask that the restrictions go into effect on the implementation date of August 2016. This will at least let the businesses that have worked so hard to create themselves and become profitable still flourish and keep their people employed. The premium cigar industry is constantly growing and changing. We do not wish to see that fade over time just because of overly priced regulations put on a product that is only marketed and sold to adults.
