Change the current guidelines for the treatment and testing of Lyme disease and other tick-born Diseases

Created by E.H. on April 12, 2012

The current belief that most people have about Lyme is it can be cured with a few weeks of antibiotics.
Truth is it can takes years of treatment with various therapies to eradicate. It can cause a multitude of symptoms and disorders and goes undiagnosed as the person gets sicker.

The testing is highly inaccurate and doctors are unable to clinically diagnose with out back lash. Doctors who are willing treat are being harassed by insurance companies and losing their licenses to practice medicine.

The CDC and the IDSA should be forced to look at the scientific facts and reform the current guidelines. It should also be mandatory that Doctors test for Babesia, Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma and other pathogens when someone finds a tick on them or if they are symptomatic.
