Change the date of Labor Day to the second Monday I September

Created by T.S. on January 31, 2015

Making Labor Day the second week in September would benefit local economies in many ways. Labor day is the unofficial end to Summer. If Labor Day would be on the second week of September resort towns, vacation destinations, amusement parks, summer time based businesses would all benefit. These businesses would have a whole additional week of summer time business, it would be huge for coastal resort towns. The weather is warm enough to do this, the national average temperature is warmer than Memorial day. all this would do is extend Summer 1 more week, and boost the economy.
