America has overcome many milestones that has made us a beacon of freedom around the world. But yet the voices of many eligible voters are not heard because of an archaic law since 1845 that mandates the voting on a Tuesday. Thus, making America have one of the worst voter turnouts in the entire world, nearing the bottom of almost all democracies. I petition to change the voting to the first weekend in November.
