The beginning of Daylight savings time is an awesome time of year in most of America. Spring has sprung in most places, the days are getting longer, the weather is warmer and the daffodils are poking their first leaves out of the ground.
All of this beauty is marred however by the turning forward of the clocks, leaving many otherwise cheerful workers tired and feeling run-down the first day back to work after the clocks "spring" forward.
We ask that the "spring" forward of the clocks happen the Second Friday (a mere two days earlier) of March, at Noon local time, to help prevent the malaise these workers would otherwise feel on Monday morning after losing an hour's sleep the night before.
