Daylight savings comes too early now! Just as mornings start to show daylight, the time is turned back and commuters are again in the dark. There used to be sunshine, birds chirping and outdoor activities in the morning, but now only darkness greets you and you commute in darkness. it's jarring on peoples' circadian clock, causing depression. I used to look forward to spring but George Bush Stole My Spring Mornings! I want them back. Daylight savings was sold as an economic help and energy saver---what about mood crusher and un-called-for assault on our physical health and attitude? I believe there is more worth in a cheerful spring morning than the marginal savings on lights at the end of the day. I use lights in the morning now--where's the savings, or the logic?
