Change the definition of "full-time employee" to people that work 40 hours per week.

Created by D.M. on January 07, 2015

40 hours a week=Full-Time employee. Lets show Mr. Obama that we have a voice. The President says that he is going to veto legislation that would increase his health care law's definition of full-time worker from 30 hours a week to 40. I work HR at my job, and the only thing the affordable health care act has done for us is limit the amount of hours we give to our employees. We had a health care option for part-time employees, but the government decided it wasn't up to it's standards, so now we can't schedule people more then 30 hours a week.
Now we have had to hire more employees so that we can operate as usual, but some of our workers only get a couple days a week. Most of the workers have had to find a second part-time job to compensate for the hours that they aren't getting anymore.
