This petition is on behalf of all Americans, regardless of age, sex, creed, color or orientation. It seems many argue against certain marital unions -solely- on the grounds that "the definition of marriage is between one man and one woman". Definitions and laws change all the time. I feel as though this should be addressed.
Many people argue about marriages that they have no grounds in, which isn't right.
I, as one of the people, feel that marriage should be defined, quite simply, as follows:
"The formal union of two consenting parties of age."
