The objective of this petition is to change the definition of the mathematical figure "tomahawk", so that it is not in the set of geometric shapes. The tomahawk may also have it's name changed to some other arbitrary word. I believe, that we as a people, need to improve the state of education in our country, specifically in the areas of mathematics and science. The word "tomahawk" has many negative connotations, as it can also be used to describe a weapon that is illegal in many places. Because of this, the best course of action is to either to change the definition of the "tomahawk", or to change it's name. If we do this, the state of our country's education will improve, improving many aspects of the economy.
