The Space Launch System will take 10+ yrs to rival the Saturn V.
We haven't been back to the moon in 4+ decades nor have we spent substantial time there.
The JWST is over budget & overdue, and while it'll give us new knowledge, it doesn't further the technologies necessary to "break Space open".
The only real plan for a manned mission to Mars is a flyby mission from a private Space tourist.
NASA has limited ability to detect & no ability to deflect dangers from space.
There've been dozens of ideas but no missions to establish a fuel depot or remove space junk.
We haven't used nuclear energy to power spacecraft due to a false interpretation of the OST.
Private space companies are hurt most by continued cuts to NASA, which already gets less than 1/2 of 1% of the budget.
