I believe the drinking age should be changed to 18. If you can join the military at 18, why are you banned from buying alcohol? You can sacrifice your life, but cannot buy alcohol.
Other countries besides the United States legalize the purchase of alcohol to those 18 and up, but why not the United States?
I also believe that if the drinking age was lowered to 18 less kids would be likely to abuse it and make stupid choices. This is because some people try it and drink alcohol just because it is rebellious and illegal.
