Change the drinking age from 21 to 18

The U.S. should Change the drinking age from 21 to 18. At the age of 18 you become an adult; you can join the military, you can vote. Anyone under the age of 21 want to try alcohol because they're not legally aloud. If the legal age was 18 then it wouldn't be as big of a problem for young people because they would try and drinking whenever they get the chance or drink as much as they can. going out to the bar on a Friday night would also help the local economy through bars and taxi's. the 18-21 year olds would be more responsible cause it wouldnt be illegal. Cigarettes are worse for you and yet you can do that at 18 if you choose. To sum it up you can pick who you want to lead the country, fight for your country, get tried as an adult, and consume tobacco but cant have a beer with dinner!
