There are many problems with today's education syestem, and one of the biggest is the fact that everything learned in public schools revolves around tests. Both a teacher's and a school's competency is measured by who gets the highest test scores. The problem with this is that teachers are forced to make students memorize facts and dates or tips that will help them pass government tests, rather than learning important life skills and things that could help with their career later on. Students should be allowed to learn what they want, and take classes that can help them learn skills for the career they want to eventually have.
I believe that the best way to do that is to give more funds to the education system and hire more teachers.
