Changing the EIC tax credit laws would greatly benefit the economy. Help stimulate homes and help end tax fraud. I believe in order to get the credit you should have,
* At least worked 12 months out of the year.
* Verify the children as your own. ( Birth certificate or if adopted provide verifying documents.)
* Be attending school at least part time
* Obtaining a trade for a career.
* Change the amount a person should qualify for.
I'm sure there are more ideas to help end tax waste and fraud. I am a tax payer I dont qualify for this credit. We are experiencing fraud with people claiming other peoples childrens to get this extra money off the tax payers. Why should they be allowed to work 4 months and get 10,000 back in EIC tax money?
