Change Election Day to the day after Thanksgiving.

Created by A.D. on November 28, 2014

This country has been plagued with poor voter turnout. There have been many attempts to promote voting at great expense of time and money. It is apparent that our culture is changing and it is imperative that the government adapt to these changes.

For this reason, we humbly and respectfully request that Election Day be moved from its present day; the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, to the day after Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving, also known as "Black Friday" is a day where a tremendous number of people are out shopping and enjoying time away from work.

The shopping deals can be combined with the opportunity to vote. This can benefit stores as voting can be combined with sales. It benefits everyone.

Help us make Black Friday, "Red, White, and Blue Friday!"
