This past Election Day saw the lowest turnout in recent memory, and though some people may voice dark money and unpopular candidates as an issue, the main reason for people not voting is that voters can't make it to the polls.
If Election Day was changed to a 2 or 3-day holiday weekend, this would allow the majority of Americans to vote, allowing the people to have a greater voice and insuring that better candidates are elected into office.
