With the current election day being on a Tuesday, many potential voters are unable to make it to the polls. By moving Election Day to a two day Friday-Saturday system, many more people would find the time to vote and the greater participation will allow for a stronger mandate for the winning candidates. The Friday should also be made a Federal holiday to enable maximum turnout.
