This petition is important because it affects all of America. We have the technology to be able to do a popular vote for a president instead of the electoral process. Theres no reason for the majority of the country to vote for one person and that person not to be the president. The electoral process was created a long time ago when we could not count everybodys vote. Lets change this! Let's finally elect a president based on the popular vote!
