It is time that the government listen to the voice of the people. For over 200 years our government elections have been ran on the electoral college votes, while still calculating the popular vote. The electoral college was made rule when the founding fathers were trying to bring the colonies together. We have evolved as a people, as a nation and it is time we evolve our policies on this issue. To be able to have a third or even a fourth party in an election makes it harder for any candidate get to the 270 electoral votes needed. I propose that it gets moved to a popular vote with congress deciding any ties that may occur.
