Change eligibility requirements to allow all veterans access to VA Medical care
All veterans have volunteered to risk their life and their health in service to their country. They serve us and many make the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
However, many veterans are denied the benefits of care at the VA Healthcare system due to being deemed "ineligible", or simply refuse to sign up due to the lengthy bureaucratic process. Please change the law to allow ALL veterans who have served 18 months or more, who have served in a war zone, or who are disabled due to an injury that occurred while on active duty, to be eligible for VA benefits.
